About Me

Hi! I'm S. J. Robinson, an author, avid reader, and storyteller who believes every book has something to teach us. Whether it's fantasy, mystery, horror, romance, dark academia, or science fiction, I'm always looking for stories with memorable characters, emotional depth, and a little bit of magic.

When I'm not reading, I'm usually working on one of my own novels, learning more about the craft of writing, or training as a voice actor. I love bringing stories to life, whether it's through the written word or behind a microphone.

Outside of writing, I'm a stay-at-home mom to two amazing kids and spend most of my days balancing family life with creative projects. My house is also home to a few spoiled pets who usually keep me company while I'm reading or writing.

I'm also a little witchy at heart. I love tarot, folklore, herbalism, mythology, and all things magical. You'll often find me researching old legends, learning about different magical traditions, or looking for ways to weave those interests into my stories.

Here on SJR Writes & Reads, you'll find honest spoiler-free reviews, Cover to Cover discussions, writing updates, and recommendations from one reader to another. My hope is that this becomes a place where book lovers can discover new stories, share their thoughts, and celebrate the books that stay with us long after we've turned the last page.
